Coronavirus Update

COVID-19 is spread through very small droplets released when we breath out. Opening windows and letting fresh air in for just 10 minutes, regularly, can help remove these small coronavirus particles lingering in the air. By doing this, the risk of COVID-19 infection can be reduced by 70%

There’s more information on ventilating indoor spaces to stop the spread of coronavirus on the GOV.UK website.
Cornwall Council has also produced a leaflet for businesses with simple steps to increase ventilation.

Get boosted now

All adults can book their COVID-19 booster vaccine online now. A booster dose of the coronavirus vaccine helps improve the protection people have from their first two doses. A booster also gives longer term protection against getting seriously ill from COVID-19, including the Omicron variant. Find out more about how to get your booster here.
