Tree Planting Event
2 days, Sat.17th and Sun.18th February

A Pentewan Valley Parish Council Project
Volunteers needed!
Previous experience not essential as demo’s will be given.
Come and help us plant a new 100 metre hedge and a small woodland of approx. 200 trees in the beautiful Pentewan Valley. We will be planting over 20 different species of native woodland trees and hedging. In total approx. 650 plantings!
The location is a field close by the Kingswood restaurant on the same side, there is free parking just after the Trevithick & Trays Farm shop
What you need to bring: Wellies, gloves and a waterproof coat/warm clothing– its February! And a water bottle and provisions. (pasty orders will be taken, free for volunteers!)
Ideally also: a garden spade and fork, a mallet or lump hammer, and if you can fit one in a wheelbarrow!
Start time 09.30 Sat. and Sun. There will be a Safety brief, outline for the day’s planting, and planting demos.
